Maybelline Beauty Spec Photography & Video Campaign

Creative Direction, Photography & Video in Miami
This project began as a creative collaboration with celebrity hair and makeup artist Gena Sullivan. We wanted to produce a complete beauty story that could introduce our team’s work to Maybelline. I developed the creative brief and moodboard, with Gena shaping the makeup direction and Beatriz Guerrero of Ford Models joining as our talent.

Maybelline supported the shoot by supplying products through its team at LaFORCE. Their priorities helped focus the concept around Serum Lipstick and Lifter Glaze, alongside Lifter Gloss and Lifter Liner. I handled photography and video, creating beauty portraits and product imagery that showed the makeup on skin as well as the products themselves.

After we delivered the finished work, Maybelline’s team requested video for its owned social channel. I confirmed permission to adapt the footage, provided access to the raw clips, and offered support with additional edits. What began as a team-initiated beauty shoot developed into content the brand wanted to use.
